Pokemon Emeralds with One HP Challenge

Pokemon Emeralds with One HP Challenge

In today’s video, we are taking on a unique challenge in Pokemon Emeralds. In this challenge, every time I take a step, my Pokemon loses one HP. Additionally, all renewable healing items have been removed from the game, except for one-shot healing items like Potion. It’s going to be a tough journey, but we’re up for the challenge.

First, we need to choose our starter Pokemon wisely. The Pokemon with the highest base HP stat is Mudkip, so I go with Mudkip as my starter. However, if we get stuck or need to switch, Trico is a viable alternative.

As we start our adventure, our Mudkip with 21 HP takes its first step and loses one HP, leaving it with 20 HP. The challenge is already proving to be difficult, and we quickly find ourselves in a situation where we can’t make it home.

We decide to white out and talk to Mom to heal our Pokemon. Mom heals our Mudkip back to 21 HP, and we try again. This time, we manage to make it a little further, but we eventually run out of HP again.

In our next attempt, we try a different strategy. We use our one Potion to give Mudkip additional HP and make it to the nearest grass patch. We encounter a level two Wurmple and manage to defeat it with Mudkip’s tackle. However, we realize that Mudkip doesn’t learn Absorb until a higher level, so we decide to restart the game and choose Trico instead.

With Trico as our starter, we make it back to the grass patch and encounter another level two Wurmple. This time, we have learned Absorb, and we defeat the Wurmple successfully. We continue our journey, cautiously making our way step by step, ensuring we have enough HP to progress.

The challenge proves to be intense, but with careful planning and strategic battles, we manage to make it to the other side of the grass patch. The journey is tough, but we are determined to complete the One HP Challenge in Pokemon Emeralds. Stay tuned for the next episode to see how we continue!
