In 2012, Minecraft Pocket Edition was in its early stages, with the release of version 0.5.0. At that time, mobile phones were not as advanced as they are today, and not everyone could afford to spend 900€ on the new iPhone 5. Despite the limitations, the developers at Mojang wanted to bring some exclusive features to the Pocket Edition. That’s when the Never Reactor was introduced. By crafting it with six iron and three diamonds, players gained access to never-exclusive items. However, activating the Never Reactor was not an easy task. It required cobblestone and gold blocks, and upon activation, a Nether-like structure would appear, surrounded by Nether Brick or Obsidian. Players would then have to fight Pigmen Zombies to obtain the exclusive items. In later versions, the Never Reactor still existed, but there was no legitimate way to obtain the Never Reactor block without modifying the game files.
