Why My Monthly Speed Run Challenge Fell Through

Why My Monthly Speed Run Challenge Fell Through

For many months, I have been planning and promoting my monthly ten thousand dollar Speed Run challenge. The idea was simple - I would host a two-week challenge where participants compete to achieve the top time in wacky and lesser-known speed run games. However, as time went on, I encountered several unforeseen obstacles.

The first challenge was finding suitable games to include in the competition. I wanted to focus on games that have either never been speedrun before or have very few runners. This proved to be a more difficult task than I anticipated. It took longer than expected to find candidates that fit the criteria, leading to delays in the challenges.

Another major setback occurred after the conclusion of the third challenge. Behind the scenes, we were working on plans to amplify the bounty and make it even more enticing. Unfortunately, these plans fell through, and nothing came of it. This resulted in further delays and disappointment for both myself and the participants.

While I am aware of the frustrations caused by these setbacks, I want to assure everyone that I am actively working towards resolving these issues. I am committed to delivering on the promises I made and ensuring a successful monthly speed run challenge moving forward. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
